MA Student Bruna Aoto Franco de Lima to Present Paper at Conference

MA student Bruna Aoto Franco de Lima will be presenting a paper at the Latin American Studies Association Annual Congress. The conference will be taking place in Ghana and in hybrid format from November 15-18, 2023.

Bruna's paper, “Black Women’s Writing as Resistance to Silence: A Comparative Analysis Between Chimamanda Adichie’s The Thing Around Your Neck and Conceição Evaristo’s Olhos D’água,” will be on the panel “Literature and Intersectionality,” on Saturday, November 18th, 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm.
